[How To] Play no-steam Left 4 Dead on LAN

To Play non steam Left 4 Dead on LAN, The host computer must initiate the game with the following Host commands, and players can join the hosted game using the Client commands [console must be enabled]:

Host:
1) Enter console [~]
2) Type:
sv_lan 1 [enter]
net_start [enter]
map [TAB thru list, enter]

Cient:
Enter console (~) and type:
connect {ip address of host} [enter]

Hello Satan.

I have tried about everything i can to get Left 4 Dead lan to work in my Cyber/Internet Cafe but i have failed.

Its really not easy for all my clients to execute commands , or remember IPs and they find it too hard that they don't even bother.

So i am asking you , is there a way to get the lan lobby working?

If no , do you know any other ways more simple for the average user?In another cyber cafe i went i saw they were using some kind of "launcher" that let you choose the map  , your name and then it started the lan game and the others could join?

Or any other simpler methods?Thanks.

it does't work!! wen i setting like that, then im play, my friend cant join me! its sayed : cant join even tried 10 times. so.. did you got another way to play LAN??

It's easy problem to solve anyway, guess what?

It's Hamachi

Make all those things more simple, if you try whith real conection, it's weird, but dont work!

Try out whith hamachi and commands
